Poker Calculator Pro - Free trial - but does it work?  0
Hey,

I thought I would like to test Poker Calculator Pro :

http://www.p**************m/poker_calculator_pro/

As they offer a free trial. Have any one tested it...?

I cant find any info about what the free trial include?
-is it a fully functional version for x days?
-is a limited version
-is a fully functional version for x hand?

Can any one help?

Poker calculators are good if you're just starting out so you can get a feel for odds etc but they becoming off putting as your game progresses.

No harm in testing it though, how about you tell us about your experience?

Well Im asking because I hate to install and uninstall tons of applications on my laptop.

I know its off topic now - but I hate to reinstall my computer and after x month with x programs installed I need to reinstall my computer else it run slow.

Therefor I thought this was the place to ask other users if they know waht the free trial include... I cant find the info. Aww crap!

I can't find anything either, which would probably suggest that it's a full demo. Download it and try it, I doubt it's any sort of malware!

I am downloading this trial just to give it a try. Thanks for the link. As far as the length of the free trial...I think it's probably unlimited time, in terms of the length of use of the trial. With it being a trial, I'm sure some of the best features will be locked out until you pay full price for the program. As for your computer running slow and you having to reinstall everything...here's a few tips: try disk defragmenting every-so-often. It organizes your hard drive so that things are easier for your system to find and it runs smoother in the end. If that doesn't do the trick, consider upgrading your RAM. If you have too little RAM, your computer will eventually get bogged down. Also, make sure you are not running anything in the background (ie extra icons in your bottom-right task bar that don't need to be running)..AND press cntrl+alt+del and go into the "processes" tab..close anything that you recognize that you don't need. NOTE: if you do not recognize the process as specifically for a program that is running that you know you don't want running, THEN DON"T END PROCESS Big Smile Lastly, if your comp is still running slow and you don't wanna buy more RAM, then don't install Poker Calculator. Its min requirements ask you to have 1GB of RAM, and if you have less than that, it will run very slow, because you still have to worry about allocating resources for your actual poker program, and anything else you're running that you want to keep.

Hope that helps Cool
