okay i juz wanna share this funny story that happens a week ago while i was playing SIT N GO TOURNAMENT of $2 -POKER. This is where i always play as i easily get to top 3 and win.
I tried to play 3 tables at a time. How shock i was when in my third table started and see different layout of the cards, meaning i entered in a OMAHA POT LIMIT tournament and not the HOLDEM NL. Worst because i have no idea how to play omaha (really no idea) since i juz started learning HOLDEM. I was like whhhhhaaaaattt????? so i couldnt concentrate on my other 2 tables (HOLDEM). Funny because first round as i have my turn, i dont know if do i fold or not so i juz said CALL and said 'come what may'. Then the last person CALLED. 3 cards was shown. HE den started to BET, and i was like omg what do i do. i really have no idea wats going on to my card lolz so i juz CALLed. He then Bet ALL-IN. whaaaatttt???? Do i fold? honestly my heart is pumpng really fast. Time is running out so i juz CALLed. and then i won lolz waaaa i was laughing heheheh not knowing how i won lolz. so i double my chips right. so since i had the highest chips i juz keep folding while i google about OMAHA, i was watching youtube bla bla bla coz the game is not over yet right. so ya it says highest 5 cards will win. but then i still have no idea how to play with it. until i get to the end of the game and win.... i honestly dont know how i survive but i won. hahahahah oh and my other 2 tournament i lose one table. - coz all of my focus was on the omaha lolzzzz
Well thats about it, So juz sharing about this coz i cant forget it lolz

It is called omahahaha for a reason. Simple rules: It is very similar to holdem with holecards, flop, turn and river. But you MUST use 2 of your holecards and 3 from the board to make your 5 card hand.

oic. so only 2 cards from yours and 3 cards from the board? so what if i have straight but that card is made from 3 cards from my cards and 2 cards from the board, is that consider as 5 cards- straight?.. or it should only be 2 cards and + 3 cards?

Well omaha sucks I am a omaha donk omg Was playin a MTT on PKR (low buyin $5) was doin well was chipleader then..... Was shocked when i saw on turn i had straight flush.... But i didnt lolllllll...... I cant use 3 whole cards...... I fokin dunno why i made that mistake.... I just had a sucky low flush, i went allin and beated by a nut flush. Damn am i donky or wot So i say again........

Well yes ur totally right, i absolutaly dont know why i made that mistake omfg I remember that i checked 20 times my cards to see if i really had that straight flush... And still argh wot a donk i am

yes read the type of poker before register the other i register in a mtt i play no limit holdem but i realise when the mtt start that it was a razz tournament had no idea what it was look on internet learn that it was the lower 5 cards that win so i try to play it seriously and make a little of money but it gonna take some time before make razz

some poker sites say your hand after each street , you might try there ) at least you know what you have ) well i think they do so ... i can't really remember since i do not play omaha
But definitely going to learn Omaha after I'm at least 6 months in to Holdem. I read it helps to know many different poker variations, and I feel like an idiot not knowing these games. I only knew about 5-card draw before.
