His line makes no sense. If he really had a strong made hand, he would have bet the turn. So it looks a lot like a missed draw to me. QJ or two hearts are most likely.
You should bet more on the flop. And either 3bet the flop or at least bet the turn after he has checked to you.
I agree. Betting the turn would have been crucial. You had position with top pair and top kicker. He saw you were calling and would have continued to bet if he had a made hand. Like shokaku said, I think he was playing off of a straight or flush draw. I think smooth calling the flop was a safe play, as he could have had 2 pair. But yeah, if you had have 3-bet the flop and he either folded or re-raised, you would know whether your kings/ace kicker were the best or not

Its always risky with only one pair, i think u made the right decision to fold. I suspect trips/two pair but if you had bet at turn it would have been more clear if he raised/called.

i dont bet the turn because i couldnt put him on a hand,i was confuse, and i wanted the pot small until i figure it out... would you call the river in this hand?
