Everyone one should pay for the proved commited crimes but, when reaching to a level like this in his life, with complicated disease and 100% dependent from others, its the guys from the hospital that are paying the sentence of taking good care of him. Let him live his last days in peace. NOTE: If he had killed or injured someone a lot my opinion could be diferent.

A train guard was hit over the hit and died several years later from the injuries he sustained from that robbery...
This was not a victimless crime. Far from it. The poor guard never worked again..

"Although no guns were used, the train driver, Jack Mills, was hit on the head with an iron bar, causing a black eye and facial bruising. The assailant was one of two members of the gang who was never identified but is thought to be Ronald "Buster" Edwards. ...Frank Williams (at the time a Detective Inspector) claims to have traced the man, but he could not be charged because of lack of evidence...Jack Mills died in 1970 from leukaemia 7 years later"
No crime is victimless (benefit fraud) the tax payer has to pay the price. (shoplifting) the consumer has to pay in higher price's.. ect ect.

freeing him is a poor example to all the chioldren / petty thiefs etc. He is guilty of a crime and therefor he should serve his time, it might be harsh if your dieing but its all the same he did the crime he should do the time. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE LOCKABY BOMBER.
