yes try to get off the computer or play in lower limits. when mr tilt visited me few days ago and took away my winnings of 1 week ( in very very unlucky beats) i stepped down to 1$ DoN and 1$ SnG and it helped to minimize losses and step back slowly today the luck came back in the 5$-limits and i hope my upswing continues

The most common reason for tilting is because people are playing outwith their bankroll. This may sound like a contradiction but to avoid tilt you need to desensitise yourself to the money you are playing with and move up and down the limits as required. If you are desensitised to the money you'll just look at it as another bad beat with hands that you would normally win with. If you really really have trouble stoppping then the only other advice I can offer would be to buy into an MTT till you come to terms with your objective. I also recommend reading the poker mindset by Taylor and Hilger that really helped me.
"probably because you are a gambler and can't control yourself enough to realize that it is just a game of poker ." yes thats true - i stop playing because i loose to much you should do the same, or it will be too late for you tahts my advice
