Hold'em for Heroes: Phil Hellmuth organizes charity tournament

Phil Hellmuth, is one of the most successful players in WSOP throughout all years. He has cashed 74 times, won 11 bracelets, and was until 2008 (when Peter Eastgate won) the youngest player ever to win the WSOP Main Event. Once again people with power in the poker comunity decide to join efforts to help those who need more. Its always nice to hear this social responsibility activities coming from this guys, sounds very nice. If they have it, why not share it?

Nice to read somenthing like that! I hope this tournament be a good one, with a lot of pro's playing and helping this foundation.

Also it will be excellent to start copying ideas like this, and Maybe do a WSOP charity event.

its a very good idea by helmuth to raise some funds for these officers, and i don't think these pros will mind giving some money to help these people

Good,
Phil is a good person to do this as he is a very high profile player it will generate a lot of interest and for a very worth while course. Given the size of the poker comunity he should raise quite a bit...
