LOL, its becoming apparent that to be a winning player you must forget all you know or chooses a game you have no clue on. Nice one fejset, enjoy your winnings.

hahahah Nice one. Congrats for the prize.
That has happened to me a couple of times but I haven't had your lucky and I've ended losing . Maybe you should try again with Omaha Hi/Lo, who know if you are a potential Oamha's crack.
Tis true tho - i ( thought ) i was 4 tabling DoNs the other day when i suddenly realised on 1 table - hang on - theres 5 left, im the short stack - and we're still playin - what t f? Anyway - went on to win it so couldnt really complain eh ................

hehe. nice one (OP)
I accidentally joined a $50 HU Omaha Hi/Lo SNG once and I won that. I mean, I understood how the game worked, but had no idea what was and wasn't considered a good hand for omaha.
I think sometimes the cards just work for you. Even when you know what you're doing, the nice cards are often the difference between just being ITM and coming in the top 3 places.

Yeah, that also happened to me. I was even folding the low hand which would have been a split pot for sure... I won when I hit straight or full house and I was very surprised when I saw that the guy called with absolutely nothing but realized at the end of the game which type of omaha we were playing and understood that the guy was chasing the low hand for pot splitting... indeed which he didn't hit

Omaha hi / lo. A lot of players think, that this is the toughest game of poker. If a noob can play it that successfully, it can only mean one thing -> rigged
