OK ill see if I can help a little, give Flangel a rest, first most ppl playing low stakes are learning, TAG works well i found, and position is a must. EP Raise the big PP, AA to JJ, and AK and AQ, ands like 10 10 you can limp but be carefull, no set not bet. AJ hmmm ok play it but agin be carefull. Play your blinds, dont just call your SB(bet or fold), save money, plug leaks :}. Then in MP 9 9 you can raise with (+all above obv)(FTA) limp with big suited connectors, if kicker is less then 9 ill fold, connectors can be playd too, but again with cautio, you can always fold. LP now low pairs can get in the actio, you got a good read on the table and can limp in with suited connectores, id say 56+, again if FTA raise. Now the flop has come, you should have an idea of villans ranges, bet your pairs, dont over play them, i dont like to bet a draw some do, id say see the next card for free, i kinda see it as charging yourself. Knowing what the villans hold for me is the key, watch what hands they play and from what position, know when to fold the signes are normally screaming at you, try to avoid hands with too many player involved draws will be there no doubt and its better IMO to get out early, again plug leaks. Focus on your game, spot the guy who folds to c bets, the guy who always leads out, dont like the table?? leave, cant spot the donk, its gonna be you. Above is for TAG play, and a short guide, kinda ABC i guess. Post HH see what ppl have to say. GL.
I know you made some information and strategy threads in the past, but they where prety much like all the other posts on the internet regarding strategy's . I play 10NLH and 10PLO. I went down to 5nlh again after my dropdown and managed to get my bankroll "healthy" again.
But on the 10 NLH and PLO it seems I just can't get a decent profit. just breaking even every time. And as I mentioned in previous pots my swings (especially in PLO) are huge, 15 buy ins in a day are not an exeption . But everytime I manage to win it back.
It's probably me, because it happens this frequently, but still I would like to have a second oppinion and would enjoy to read your toughts about this.
I keep on hearing from people that you can't beat the micro stakes with a tight bankrollmanagment but I don't really believe that (I play a tight BRM). And I would love to say they are wrong by going up in limits on a frequent basis.
I use pokertracker 3 to keep track of my played NLH hands and I analyze them like every week, and off course I see some mistakes but also a lot of bad beats time after time, I get my money in with the best hand and I lose on the turn or river (sometimes bad beat, sometimes outplayed)
maybe the secret is playing more hands (I play 4 - 6 tables) or maybe less. Play tigher or maybe much more aggressive, play more MTT and DON's and don't bother playing the cashgames, ...
I hope you can come up with some info, and I'm really looking forward to your advise (I hope others on this forum to who might have the same problem as me).

the really important thing is: you have to be able to put your opponent on a hand range and play a better range than him. do this and you will beat PLO as well.
unsure? post HH in the stat section and lets discuss!

Playing more hands is not the way to go, but more aggresin might be need for them BB. Less tables migh be better, can concentrate more, most of what if not all is basic, and for me anyway bassic works, sure not a quick way to big $$ but a steady progress, i dont think LAG is respected at low stakes and will see more BB. Sure use Dons as abuilder a great way to go, low MTTs full of donks, could be the way forward, cash for me is the real game. But saving money is as good as winning IMO. GL at the felt, keep reviewing and as said above post some HH if you like see what ppl think of your play, more oppnions are better than 1.

i had similar problems at some points. i lost first a couple of BIs, than i won it back. i realized, that i was starting the tables to loose. i was making too many plays, without really seeing how my opponents play. solution: play tight as a rock, until you get a read. havin a tight image is never wrong also.
and: select your tables and playing times carefull. i cant beat NLHE cashgames at certain times too. so many regulars... during happy hour on full tilt now, even me manages to profit at holdem. or on sunday. or when it is between midnight and 3am in overseas. you are getting my point i think
