After eight years of cashes, Las Vegas based poker pro Ben Yu finally got his first gold bracelet after topping a tough field of 117 entries in the $10,000 buy-in Limit Hold'em event. Yu, who bested a final table that had four former WSOP event winners on it, also received $291,456 for his victory. His WSOP earnings are now $714,310.

This tournament drew a field of 815 entries and took three days to complete. Young Ji, 52, of Anchorage, Alaska pocketed $231,102 and a first gold bracelet following his  victory. Ji was born in Inchon, South Korea and started playing poker 30 years ago with friends. This victory marked his 7th WSOP cash, his total WSOP earnings is $307,494.

This event attracted 1,244 entrants who created a prize pool of $2,830,100. In total, 144 players made the money and, after four days of intensive play, Matt O'Donnell received $551,941 for winning the tournament.
