The game of poker is currently booming in China and this is due to the fact that a Chinese TV company have just started broadcasting World Poker Tour on China.
The difference between China and the rest of the world is that the game of choice in China is called Traktor Poker instead of Texas Hold Em. Traktor Poker is a mix between bride and gin and you play in teams of two or four depending on the setup of the tournament. This card game is played with two decks of cards including all of the jokers and the China Leisure Sports Administrative Center considers it a sport.
