After 4 long days of world class poker, 530 players had been eliminated and Will Fry and Ciprian Hrisca were the 2 last man standing in the biggest poker tournament in Hungarian history!

After only 30 minutes of playing heads up, Will Fry moved all-in as chipleader with JDiamond JSpade and Hrisca called with AClub 6Diamond. The flop came QSpade 6Club TDiamond, turn KClub, river KClub and Will finally took home the 1st place with his higher 2 pairs.

Will Fry collected €595,839 and a seat to the €10,000 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo for winning the tournament. Ciprian Hrisca received €342,608 for the second place.

I can understand if someone is going all in with A6o, but calling with this hand? You can't expect to have more than a coinflip with that hand, and most of the time you are in trouble.

You can't possibly say that without knowing the stack sizes.

Hrisca could have had like 5 BBs, Fry could have shoved the last 20 hands in a row etc etc etc, all these factors would make A6 a reasonable call.

As said Andiell, many factors could be reasons which forced the player to call with A6, if he had a little stack, sthg around 9 blinds or less, it is good to call with this hand, moreover , in heads-up, hands'value are not the same than in a full table.
In a 10 seats table, A6 is a poor hand but in two players, how much is the probability than the other player has an Ace too whereas i have already one ?
Very little...
