EPT Day 2: Dane in the lead

Tags: Albert Iversen, Anette Obrestad, EPT Budapest, Martin Jacobson.
Posted on 31 October 2008 by "T".

Of the top 3 players, Anette Obrestad, Arnaud Mattern and Mauro Corsett from day 1, only Mauro Corsett from Italy survived day 2.

Anette Obrestad was a player that many people hoped and believed would make it far in this tournament. Unfortunately she went out after an all-in with 9-7 on the flop j-9-7 against Ivo Donev with J-8. Ivo got his 8 on the turn and EPT Budapest was over for Anette after a blank river card.

Leading the tournament at the moment is the Danish poker player Albert Iverse with 442,500 chips, followed by Martin Jacobson with 365,000 in chips.

Top 10 of 42 remaining players:

Albert Iversen - 442,500
Martin Jacobson - 365,000
Ciprian Hrisca - 280,000
Casey Kastle - 264,500
William Fry - 257,000
Lukas Benkovic - 224,000
Pasquale Braco - 208,500
Marino Serenelli - 195,500
Zoltan Toth - 175,000
Ofir Abramovivi - 163,000

I want to congratulate with Alaqua and Serenelli for their outstandings performance: final table, 5° and 6°.
Maybe next EPT tournament will be the right one for an italian winner.
ciao a tutti, belli e brutti
