Isildur1 moves down in stakes

Posted on 15 December 2009 by "T".

After that Isildur1 lost big to Brian Townsend last Sunday and also stopped bringing in money to the tables he went broke on - many said that he probably was running out of money and that he would soon be gone from the high stakes scene. However, already on Monday he was back on the high stakes, but this time "only" playing $100/$200 PLO against Cole South. The losing streak continued for the Swede in the session against Cole South and at around 6:00AM on Tuesday morning they called it a day.

"He must be missing a chromosome"
That is what Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies said about Isildur1 in recent interview he made in Finnish radio. However, Ziigmund said that he thinks that Isildur1 is one of the best NL heads-up players in the world and that he should stick to playing that instead of Pot Limit Omaha. Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies also said that he dont have the bankroll to play as high as he and Isildur1 did for a while. However, it seemed to have paid off as he's up about a million dollars against the Swede.

well that is his own mistake, why play omaha and lose big when you are so good on NL Holdem,he shuld be stick to that, but again that is his problem

According to HSDB he losed 200K again yesterday.

Once again on these stakes i wonder why he keeps playing omaha while he is a lot better at NLHE.

It was obvious that he couldnt keep up at the highest stakes.. he defo needs to calm down a bit come down the levels as he has and get his mojo back.
If he's so dame good at NL all this Omaha play is pointless, he;s loosing money hand over fist. Come home to NL ...lol

AAAAAAAAAAh Isildur, damn just get back your brain... dont try to be the best in all kind of poker. NIce try, but you see that you are fucked in omaha pot limit, so just go play no limit holdem, we know you are good, dont try to prove anything....

I think he needs to take it slowly, I would change my nickname and start building up my bankroll at a bit lower stakes and maybe take on the high stakes tables a bit later.

PLO seems to be the monkey on Isildur1's back.

I agree with ziggy, I used to watch him play NL HE and he definitely is very good at it
 ivobessa115/12/2009 22:45:03 GMT
yes but he has to stay more relaxed and don't try to have all his money back in one day

Stick to what you are good at. Don't go playing high stakes on omaha if you are better playing NLHE. Maybe he just get's a kick out of losing.

adrenaline junkie for sure, PLO has mich more action than NLHE
 paulparadiis17/12/2009 07:09:13 GMT
Where did he get his money at the first place?
 ih8usukouts17/12/2009 10:46:35 GMT
When he starts to play at the micros make another post and let us know
 SuperNoob18/12/2009 13:09:32 GMT
he's in a big loss and it will take a lot of time on lower stakes before he can win it all back, but atleast there is hope that he might return to high stakes
