The Main Event of Bayou Poker Challenge attracted 80 players this year. Not a lot of players in other words, but since the buy-in was $3000+$120 it created a total prize pool of $221,709. It came to be the American poker pro Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler from Las Vegas who took home the the three-day event. A very well deserved win for Allen Kessler who has developed quite a reputation in the past few years. Allen Kessler now has almost $1,5 million dollars in tournament winnings through his career.

With those news I always would like to know how many rebuys and add-on winners took to win, and it's an information that also deserves to appear in each tournament report.

Thats a nice first place prize (the WSOP seat have some great potential of more winnings !!).

@DaMessiah : here you can see it was a freeze out since 3000*80 = ~221,709 $, so i dont really understand why you speak about rebuys....

Allen has about 1.5M in poker winnings, seems like we will be hearing from him in near future winning bigger tournaments.

entry to main event is 10k and don't think its much for them( considering its easier for him to get a sponsorship too), he surely would have wanted a bigger prizepool

Sorry but i think you're wrong and i think he won't win tomuch in big tournaments.
It say he got reputation for the years of playing which and then it say he won 1,5 milion through the poker.

If you compare him to the other guy from news Eric Baldwin he didn't look to good.
