Ramzi Jelassi wins IPT San Remo

Ramzi Jelassi, 22, from Sweden, won IPT (Italian Poker Tour) in San Remo yesterday and took home the first prize of 170,000 EURO. This is Ramzi's second big title in the previous 8 months. In December he won the side event to EPT Prag and received around 130,000 EURO. Ramzi Jelassi, also did very well in this year's WSOP Main Event, but unfortunately he went out before the really BIG MONEY (425th place - $27,469).

2 Andrea Sapere - €100 000
3 Francesco Veronese - €68 000
4 Massimo Di Cicco - €50 000
5 Giuseppe Pipino - €39 000
6 Roberto Pompei - €28 000
7 Claudio Rinaldi - €18 000
8 Niccolò Domeniconi - €13 000

Another swedish name coming to the top of poker. After all, Swedish know what to do with all that money they win working at normal daytime jobs. Its so diferent their salaries comparing to portuguese ones. I know i can emigrate but first i have to learn their language.

he won at least 300.000 € in less then a year
i don't think he is working a normal daytime job.

its a pretty good job winning two big titles in just 8 months for a 22 year old player. he has still a lot of time left and will someday make it big in wsop too

Andrea Sapere, the second place is a friend of mine. He live in Taranto near my home. He is a very strong player, i m very happy for him. grande Andrea
