The new durrrr challenge between Tom "durrr" Dwan and Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates has been running for a few days now. Even though they only have played 2 sessions of No Limit Holdem so far, Jungleman12 already has taken the lead with almost $700,000!
According to Full Tilt Poker's blog, Dan Cates has won 61% of all pots and has a VPIP (Voluntarily Put Money into the Pot) of 69%. Dwan's VPIP is slightly lower at 65% and Cates has a win rate of about 25 BB/100.
There's a long way to go though. Only 6,820 of 50,000 hands have been played yet, so it's far too early to say who will win the challenge. Just look at the early states of the durrrr challenge between Tom Dwan and Antonius. Antonius took a quite big lead but then everything went Dwan's way and now he's now up $2,059,719 after 39,436 hands. Well, of course there is a quite big difference in action between NLH (new durrrr challenge) and PLO (old), but I still think the lead Jungleman12 has at the moment doesn't say much about how the rest of the challenge will go.
