The American poker pro Antonio Esfandiari is a well-known face in the poker world under the nickname "The Magician. But it's not only at the poker table that Esfandiari can perform magic and trick his opponents. In the radio show Donkr Radio Show Esfandiari talked about a trip with his friend to Tanzania, Africa, where they went out hunting and also played some home games of poker.
The vacation was nice and relaxed until they went on a guided tour and Esfandiari suddenly got some problems with his stomach and needed to find a toilet very fast. He went to a closed restaurant and talked to a lady in the entrance.
"My poker skills came handy in there. I was thinking that if I ask her if I can use the bathroom, there's not a chance she will let me. But if I make a dinner reservation my chances will increase."
After telling the lady in the entrance that he's from Las Vegas and interested in a dinner for 10 people, he asked if he could use the bathroom. But the Lady denied his request.
Then The Magician decided to bluff...
"If I can't use the bathroom, I don't want to eat here tonight," Antonius said
The lady changed her mind and Esfandiari got to use the bathroom, and it also ended up being a nice story to tell his friends.
