Jungleman12 taught "newcomer" a lesson

Tags: full tilt poker, jungleman12, Toomten.
Posted on 18 January 2011 by "T".

There hasn't been much action at the nosebleed tables online in the past few days, however there have been some good games on the $25/$50 PLO tables at Full Tilt. One of the most active players has been the Swedish player Toomten. He won $159,000 from a player called Bttech and then he decided to take on 2010's biggest winner online, jungleman12.

Toomten didn't have a chance against the american and after 1128 hands he gave up - $79k from the $159k was suddenly gone. This shows that table selection is one of the most important things in poker. Well, we can be thankful for a very entertaining heads-up! Smile

1128 are not enough hands to tell if he had "no chance" against cates, especially in such a swingy game like hu omaha.

i guess the time will tell how solid Toomten really is.

Jungleman keeps showing what a force he is to be reckoned with, absolutely amazing. If this keeps up durrrr will start pooping his pants whenever Daniel Cates shows up at his table. Only a matter of time before FT takes him on as one of their pros, maybe after they ditch Dwan...

Ahaha! Very nice advice from T! I think that when i decide to play on tables with bigger blinds, first i will search for my oponents information. Thankfully there are some sites which gives us player's rankings but the best to do is to start writing some coments on each player's comment space. Some sites let us do that and it is very helpful.

Table selection its since always the most important thing in poker. Knowing where is the fish and how to exploit him its very important.

Me per example everytime i play i have a bunch waiting to enter in the table, i assume iam fish everytime i play hahahahahaahaha.
