Norwegian young gun leads the EPT Madrid Main Event

The first two starting days and day 2 of the EPT Madrid Main Event have already been played. 104 out of 686 players will return to play day 3 in a few hours. The remaining field of players includes many PokerStars sponsored players. Victor Ramdin, Alex Gomes and Daniel Weinman - just to mention 3 who can be found in the top of the field.

Leading the tournament is Ole Kristian Nergard from Norway, closely followed by Kristoffer Thorsson (not William Thorson's brother). Nergard missed out on the Main Event last year by a matter of hours, not turning 18 until after the Main Event had begun. It be very interesting to follow him and Thorsson during day 3 of the tournament.

We will return with an update as soon as Day 3 is over.

EPT Madrid was packed with action so far, the main event is no exception although the most spectacular was the high stakes event.
Now if i would need to put my money on a player that i really like, that would definately be Victor Ramdin, he is an really exceptional tournament player both online and live of course and from what i know he has a pretty good stack alreay, so thats the player that i'm looking forward to see his evolution. On the other hand my first question when i saw this kid from Norway was that if he is 18 years old yet... It seems it is, so good luck to him.

hes doing pretty good at the moment considering his inexperience and age. but still its very early and lots of players looking to jump to that first spot, its gonna be a tough game to final table.

I wish him the best of luck and may he win this tournament so he can be in the spotlight for the first time in his life.
