BankrollMob is proud to offer a new and exciting type of No Deposit Bonus to you. CashArena.com has taken the old penny auctions and pushed them in to a new level. For those of us who are not familiar with the old auctions, it's hard to understand the new - so let's see:

Penny auctions have gained more recognition in the past few years, and this is partly because the concept is simple enough. Old style penny auctions offer a high end item, such as a computer or smart phone, on auction at greatly reduced retail prices (usually the price starts at $0.01).  Players then purchase bid packages containing a set number of bids.  Bids usually cost less than a $1, thus the name “penny auction”.  Players spend these bids in the auction. Each bid moves the price goes up (as in a typical eBay auction), but each bid also extends the closing auction time. The player who made the last bid when the timer runs out wins the auction and can purchase the product for a price much lower than retail value. You basically bid on the right to purchase the product at a reduced price, so you also need to factor in the cost of each bid that you spent to win the auction. Even so, the typical final winning bid results in extremely reduced prices for popular and pricey items. These types of penny auctions mainly appeal to people who like to shop and are keen on sales.  While it requires a certain skill to win an iPad for a few dollars instead of hundreds, users must want to own the item they are bidding on, and also be prepared to pay for shipping.

CashArena.com have pushed penny auctions to a new level
No longer do players need to wait for an item to go on auction that they want or need, nor do players need to bid on items they don’t want. Since you are bidding on cash amounts, cash penny auction players can focus more on their ability to play the game better than their competitors.

So, how does it work?
Users purchase bids and then use them to place bids on cash auctions ranging from $10 to $250. When a user places a bid, the auction timer will go up by 15 seconds. When the timer goes below 15 seconds, the auction will never go above 15 seconds no matter how many bids are placed afterwards. The winner of the auction is the last bidder to place a bid on the auction when the auction reaches 0 and closes.
As you place bids you can earn Coloritas. These can then be used to win more bids (which cost $0.70 a piece) or even cash amounts (up to $1,000!) by playing the Reward Games or Lowest Unique Game.

Reward Games:
Every day there is a new Reward Game. You can convert your Coloritas to cash or bids. Each Reward Level has a starting level. When the auctions go live and bids are being placed, the amount you can convert will increase. When someone converts a Reward Game on a certain level, that level resets to the original starting point. At the end of the day when the auctions close, all levels are reset and new Colorita amounts will be needed to convert each level.

Lowest Unique Games:
In the Lowest Unique Game, you can use your Coloritas to place a bid on the grid. The squares where you have enough Coloritas to bid will turn bold. When you place a bid, a check mark will appear on the square where you placed a bid. You can only place one bid per square. The square with the least amount of bids that is more than zero will be the winner. If there is more than one square with the lowest unique bid, then the prize will be split between the winners.

What about the exclusive No Deposit Bonus for BankrollMob members?
Let's save the best for last, if you sign up at CashArena.com via BankrollMob you will get a $14 No Deposit Bonus. This free bonus will give you 20 bids to use and give you a good start to make your fortune!

 rbdflyboy27/09/2011 18:41:43 GMT
don't think this is for me. Spent 10 min watching a timer...not too much exciting going on there. Give a deck of cards. Another thing, when I open the site windows closes all my tabs. Whats up with that? Now I'll have to run two independant browsers....lol.
 Funope27/09/2011 20:25:48 GMT
I thought it was a poker room
 lukasb27/09/2011 21:01:26 GMT
Im checking it right now. first impressions: quite frankly... booooooooring.... sry if im offending anyone here that actually likes this but i feel like life is being sucked out my eye sockets from over exposure to timers... looking at the concept of it i can see its clearly a nice deal also... for the house.
dont expect to get anything out of it even thou i havent made a single bid so far.... will spend it all soon thou and move on to poker.

LOL...has been a long time that i have had tears in my eyes due a single phrase - simple but funny said.
i just checked it out and after a minute i came to the conclusion (without to really understand how it works) and here i just quote IslandJack: "As long as people can put money up for grabs and click some buttons, creativity is limitless."
its also nothing for me.....guess you have to be addictive to such things like focusing on a timer and clicking a button.

 SuperNoob28/09/2011 08:30:13 GMT
ok finally had a look at the site and now that their rep is here too, i'll post my views.
both site and the post here mention -

each bid costs same amount i.e. 1 bid
winner is person who had last "registered" bid when timer ran out

But if you are a power bidder, you want to show people you will win no matter what, so you go crazy at first. Then regular players know that you are a power bidder and tend to stay away from you during auctions . So it is similar to a bluff and an investment for the future.

do u really think any1 serious about this gonna stay away from bidding when they see someone bid like crazy? when they know they can win by bidding at last second and all the earlier bids are pointless

Posted by CashArena:
I know you probably won't believe it since I represent CashArena, but we do have players that come out way ahead. In as they deposit $25 and have withdrew $1800 or more. And these aren't lucky players, they know how the game works , the best time to bid, who to bid (and not bid) against , and use the mini games to their fullest advantage. That is why penny auctions are a skilled game . Also, the reason they are legal in the U.S. is because they are considered a skilled game.

can u tell me how do you define skill? do u consider clicking a button skill ?
strictly speaking in neurophysiology, walking is a gross motor skill, clicking is fine motor skill

only thing i see you have to do at the site to win is bid when the timer is goin to run out, unfortunately i dont think it is a skill. i think its common sense and apparently some people are lacking it ( bidding 187 $ to win 100 $)

as for the people claiming that players submitting bids and increasing the counter are not real-

though i agree that there is a possibility about that and placing bids to increase the counter is really dumb cos when counter is going to run out they'll have to battle nonetheless.
but i think people tend to grossly underestimate stupidity based on their own high IQ.
global prevalence of mental retardation is around 3%, obviously they cant access internet themselves.
so the ppl doing these dumb things have IQ higher than them
IQ of population is near normally distributed, and with MR / very high ones at tails-
the ppl doing these dumb things are much more than 3%

i think the game could have been more interesting, these earlier bids more meaningful and the site more profitable for the owners if they had decided to make the person with highest no of bids (when the timer runs out )winner instead of the last bidder.
or each subsequent bid costs 1 more than the previous bid
but its not my site, whtever works for you ppl Smile

and as for the site
timings suck, atleast for me.
really dont fancy myself watchin a timer and watch ppl spend more than they gonna earn.
no ewallets in withdrawal Thumbs Down Thumbs Down

anyway i've got the free bids, will try after some time if maybe the action cools down a bit.
gl to ev1 tryin to test their clicking "skills" and laggy internet
 MIGO1428/09/2011 10:05:23 GMT
Lool Supernoob, lmao.
Really a great post, very funny.
What I really don´t understand is: Why shall anybody place a bit until the timer goes below 15 seconds ?
Is there any reason for this ?
 pochui28/09/2011 12:08:08 GMT
really nice that Bankroll Mob is coming with new offers all the time. Maybe this offer will not be so popular as the poker offers, but it's a chance to experience something new for no risk whatsoever. Good luck to all Mobbers.
 lukasb28/09/2011 12:25:44 GMT
spent everything last night and yes, made the house very happy coz there was for sure some poor soul there losing its own money while i kept biding on the last 15 secs. its a great deal i tell u... but no matter what they its just great for them, no one else Evil
 SuperNoob28/09/2011 15:01:42 GMT
ok just witnessed 1 game "battle" on casharena.
dont think many ppl knw about what happens when less than 15 secs are left -

whenevr someone makes a bid, timer is reset to 15 secs.
so basically for the last bidder to win, 15 secs hav to pass and noone should bid in that time.

and considering ppl who hav bids would definitely bid, if they had bid earlier or there "investment" will be a waste.
last 30 min counter has reached 1 secs atleast 20 times and 8-9 ppl are bidding continuously,
as i was writing this post, someguy won too

so you win when other people go broke Blink

like i said before, worse than lottery lol
 CashArena28/09/2011 15:10:12 GMT
So I still see there is some confusion, but yes, if you are used to playing 4 tables or more of poker online at a time, CashArena.com may seem boring. It is a slower game, but to each their own! Some like it fast, some like it slow To answer some specific questions

Posted by SuperNoob when they know they can win by bidding at last second and all the earlier bids are pointless

If you bid at 00:00:01 then the auction will not end! It will go up 15 seconds. So actually waiting until the last second doesn't help that much.

Posted by SuperNoob can u tell me how do you define skill? do u consider clicking a button skill ?

Lol, clicking a button is not a skill game, no! But it isn't only about clicking a button. It is about how many bids your willing to put into the auction, vs how many bids your competition is willing to put in the auction, who can pay attention the most at the end of the auction, and can intimidate the other users.

Also, CashArena isn't just about the auctions. Earning Coloritas for the mini games takes another skill, it isn't based on how much money you spent. We have one user that main focuses on that, and comes out WAY ahead.

Posted by SuperNoob i think the game could have been more interesting, these earlier bids more meaningful and the site more profitable for the owners if they had decided to make the person with highest no of bids (when the timer runs out )winner instead of the last bidder.

Actually we are thinking of developing a mini game similar to this concept!

Let us know if you guys have any more questions
 SuperNoob28/09/2011 15:33:19 GMT
still dont see the skill in the main game, more like a case of rich beating poor
no way u can compete with 20 bids against someone who has 200 bids and is willing to lose 100+ for winning worth 35 bids.
no skill can help u there.

didnt know about the timer resetting before, but still the earlier bids before 15 secs are pointless

but still thanks for the no deposit bonus, was funny seeing the game Cool
 CashArena28/09/2011 16:20:45 GMT
Most welcome! True, it isn't for everyone, but at least you guys could test it out, and hopefully some of you will want to continue to play Smile

Also, thank you all for your feedback, we do appreciate it (even if it is REALLY what you think) and it is great to see what poker players think of CashArena!

Yes it does, in conserves bids, if someone else is sat waiting for it to hit 1sec, then the two battling it out are wasting bids, so waiting is an important strategy.
Posted by CashArena:

NO, its simply about putting in the last bid, watching and seeing what other people are willing to bid, and as we know people pay over the odds, so if he is in, don't play, chances are he is using a bot or the other bad thing that goes on.(not saying it happens at your site, but it happens)

There is a skill to the game, but to be honest Id rather a script do it for me.

 rbdflyboy28/09/2011 18:32:52 GMT
What would make sense to me would be a % of the prize pool as a payout instead of a fixed amount. Then, I think that may be worth the bleeding eyeballs.
 CashArena29/09/2011 11:19:19 GMT
Smile At least I got someone to admit there is a skill to the game! Big Smile Thanks B1gfoot Smile

rdbflyboy, I think the fixed amount is from the traditional penny auctions that have a fixed prize. But what you are speaking about is in our Reward Games.

That grows as people bid. Actually, when we did the promo on BankRollMob and everyone was bidding like mad, one of our regular players converted 60 free bids and then 120 free bids! And the amount to convert doesn't change. Once converted it is reset. He was very smart about it and actually mostly collects Coloritas in the auctions to cash out in the other mini games. But none the less, a very good suggestion, maybe we can develop a special auction for that!
 stibbefritz29/09/2011 13:38:21 GMT
A nice game, i watched for a while last night and think i found a strategy to win some money Big Smile

I just registered now and claimed the free bids - thank you CashArena.

Lets see if my strategy will work.
 CashArena29/09/2011 14:50:38 GMT
You're welcome! If your strategy works let us know how much you won! Smile
 edyholdem30/09/2011 11:27:35 GMT
I wonder how people can be so stupid to give money away on this scams.
 Fakiry30/09/2011 13:22:25 GMT
Yesterday i was paying atention to the site and particular to one of the bids, the $15 one, following the advice of the company to go after the lower ones, but i wasnt betting, just watching, and there were 9 bidders. I thought "this will still take a while to end", like in other bid sites, but suddenly it just stoped and one guy took the $15 after a 16minute bid battle. Got to try to see some more before biding to see if i find some data which helps me or if can help any one of us in this.

I lost my free bids, but today i got a mail and saw it is possible to get another 25 bids. You must only answer the questions of the CashArena strategy school. And now you can get a 15% payback of your next bids. I think i try it again Blink
 YOdiablo20/10/2011 23:55:06 GMT
I just registered to this and won an auction..I tought it was scam but i said let's give it a try with the bonus from bankrollmob..i've buyied some bids and made a 15 $ withadraw trough paypal, and i've got an email that says my withadraw is being processed 1-2 days..I will reply back in 1-4 days if I get payied or not..
 YOdiablo25/10/2011 17:10:41 GMT
Like I said,I will reply back...I got my withadraw via paypal and 2 days ago I've checked and the money were already in my paypal account..I had no problem at all, they were serious. The competition is tough but with some strategy or some luck (depends on how you look at things) , you can make nice money..
 mascona25/10/2011 17:54:18 GMT
Question:
Who is ready to spend 2 times during one hour about 2 x 390 bids / ~270 $ each / to win 2 x 50 $ ?
Answer: CashArena bidbot.....

Just spend more than 800 bids during last 3 days, which I get for free from them and the highest winning I could get was 25 $.

THIS SITE IS SIMPLY RIGGED.....just enough good to suck the money from happy Canadians. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
 CashArena26/10/2011 10:26:02 GMT
@mascona – You are just checking one auction. If you look at the rest, you see most of them are not like that. We do not use any bots at all, it is 100% fair and you are only playing against other users.

We would be very interested in knowing your username on the site, as there is no way any user could have gotten 800 free bids. That is way above our limit. It sounds like you couldn't have done that with a single account.

@YOdiablo – Congrats on your win and withdrawal! And Happy Spending! Big Smile
 mascona26/10/2011 14:19:06 GMT
Of course you are non profit organisation and the only reason of your activity is happieness of your users.....lol
Me and some friends of mine just wanted to proof, what was cristal clear anyway before we even started, that there is no possibility of any big winning, no metter how many bids you got .......of course, if someone have time to spend whole day to win 15 $ it's perfect for him.
$5, $10 and $15 auctions are there to keep the users filling, that they can win something.....rest of them are to make your profit - simple or ?
 CashArena26/10/2011 15:22:14 GMT
No, of course we want to make a profit. But there is a difference from saying we are a non profit organization to that we out right cheat to steal money from people.

It is what it is. We have no bots, we don't bid, you are playing against other users, period. We make profit on some auctions, but we lose on a lot too, which you can see in past auctions.

Please do not "test" the system any more, because what you and your "friends" are doing is committing fraud. Maybe if you paid more attention to how to play the game and less attention to trying to steal free bids you would have come out more ahead, like with YOdiablo and other users.

And just to clarify, we never advertised "big" winnings. We have no jackpots of hundreds of thousands of dollars or giant prize pools like in poker. But you can win, and you can win thousands more than you put it. We have many players that do so. But you have to have the skill Smile
 mascona26/10/2011 16:51:17 GMT
Explain us please: How could we steal something what you give us anyway for free ? Confused Confused Confused
 CashArena26/10/2011 17:46:43 GMT
The free bids are for new users who open accounts. Not for users who fraudulently open up multiple accounts Blink I consider that stealing, but maybe the better term is fraud. Or both Smile

Everyone is welcome to try the free bids, but they must follow our terms and conditions, which includes only one account per person.
 SuperNoob26/10/2011 18:07:24 GMT
Fight Fight Fight Evil Evil

@ mascona - why did it take you 800 bids Shock to realise that Worship Worship
and Thumbs Down if u created multiple accounts there
 mascona27/11/2011 17:56:42 GMT
Like I said before....that rigged site will close soon.
Froze more winners accounts and wait for new players.......lol.
Canadian scum.

Worship Worship Worship Respect.
 mascona28/11/2011 18:58:56 GMT
We regret to inform you that CashArena.com will be closing. We had a good run while it lasted, and we thank you for your enthusiasm.

After December 1st, 2011, we will no longer offer penny auctions. Please spend all of your bids that you have before this date. The Lowest Unique Game of $2000 will finish on the end of the auction date in November when the countdown runs out. You can also use your Coloritas in the Reward Games which we will be offering until the very last day.

It is unfortunate that another penny auction is already finished, but it goes to show that running a penny auction is no easy task. We aimed to run a fair and honest site, but with some of the hard-core colluders out there that have means to really hurt a site, and no real third party to protect both the penny auction operators and bidders, we found it simply impossible. We will still be providing e-mail support for the customers through the whole of December to finish our run and discuss everything properly.

I recommend all of you that are avid penny auction players to push for regulation. Push for fairness, both on the sides of bidders and operators. Report all the side deals and cooperations you are offered or find out about. Only that way you can protect the industry.

For those who have stood beside us over the past few months = you guys were a lot of fun! Big shout outs go especially to BidsAgency, Whatever, Pippy, llcornwell, BETTERGET, Zero1, ICEMAN, s14m10l6 and lovely Erin824. Thank you for being a part of CashArena. You will be missed!

Regards,
The CashArena Team
 SuperNoob28/11/2011 19:11:07 GMT
dont get why they are making this so dramatic. anyway they themselves admitted there were colluders on site.

well done ppl staying away from that site, i'm sure all the usernames mentioned there are biggest losers of that site.
 sponsorplay08/12/2011 11:38:50 GMT
I dont know anybody thar ever won in one of those auctions, so even if its free, then why spend time on it, if you dont have any chance to win. However, maybe this website is better than the rest Smile
 initiator08/12/2011 22:07:33 GMT
This site closed at the end of November. So I could believe this thread could be closed Admin....
