Ben Lamb had a fantastic 2011 with not less than 5 big cashes at the World Series of Poker. A few days ago he was also given the prestigious Player Of The Year title by one of the most popular poker magazines in the world. In total, Ben Lamb has $6,575,016 in lifetime tournament winnings - of which $5,352,970 comes from the 2011 World Series of Poker. In other words, it wasn't a big surprise that he was among the favorites to take home the title.
Even though Ben Lamb created a name for himself in the poker world during the 2011 WSOP, he's far from a newbie when it comes doing well in major poker tournaments. Already back in 2006 he took down three tournaments and finished deep in a few more. However, Lamb's first big cash came in 2009 when he finished 14th in the Main Event for $633,022. And as they say, the rest is history.
