In case you missed it, Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer recently took down his third bracelet (all of which have been won this year) at the WSOP APAC in Melbourne, Australia, to lay hands on the Player of the Year title. On Tuesday, the 31-year-old German pro released a video in which he reflected on what the title meant to him.

Ben Lamb had a fantastic 2011 with not less than 5 big cashes at the World Series of Poker. A few days ago he was also given the prestigious Player Of The Year title by one of the most popular poker magazines in the world. In total, Ben Lamb has $6,575,016 in lifetime tournament winnings - of which $5,352,970 comes from the 2011 World Series of Poker. In other words, it wasn't a big surprise that he was among the favorites to take home the title.

A big congratulations to the Canadian poker pro Sorel Mizzi who has taken home the first place in the category Player of The Year in one of the leading and most respected poker magazines in the world. Mizzi, who's sponsored by Titan Poker, has had a fantastic poker year as he has collected almost $1.9 million from different live tournaments. Most notable of these winnings is his 3rd place in Aussie Millions, the win at Borgata Spring Poker Open and the second place finish in WPT Paris High Roller.

However, the most notable win for Baldwin this year must be when he won Event #34 $1500 NL Hold'em in the 2009 WSOP and got his first bracelet.
