WPT World Championship: Day 4 Ends on the Money Bubble

152 players have become only 19 after 4 days of play, and now only 1 more player has to hit the rail before the tournament has reached the money and all players are guaranteed at least $40,266. Hafiz Khan (picture) leads the pack with 1,966,000, closely followed by Marvin Rettenmaier with 1,870,000, and nick Schulman is in 3rd place with 1,315,000.

The tournament has had a new chip leader every single day, so it's very hard to predict which players will survive day 5 and bring decent stacks to the final table. One thing's for sure though: all of the remaining players (most of them well-known) deserve to have come this far and it will be a thrilling final table regardless of who's on it.

We'll be back tomorrow with a new update!

The pressure in the top of this event must be huge, but passing to another day of tourney in the last place with the risk of not getting a cent from the participation on the event must be awful. And it shouldn’t be only the last one who is scared with the future, because an all-in move at this stage against an opponent with more chips can mean a ride home with the empty pockets.

Big stacks win so much money at this stage, because people shit their pants about leaving with nothing.

Ranges widen A LOT, and all the pressure is on the sss and small stacks to make the right reads.
