Posted on 25 June 2012 by "T".

102 players are battling it out in the $50,000 buy-in tournament The Poker Players Championship at the moment. In the lead is Ali Eslami with 253,300 chips, closely followed by Bruno Fitoussi with 251,400.

The remaining field of players includes so many well-known pros that it's hard to pick a few favorites to reach the final table. Besides that, the prize pool and the total entries are sill not stated on WSOP's website, so we will have to return with some more information about that later on today.

It must be needed a great background and also being used to live with it to enter a $50,000 buy-in tourney without being worried with the investment made. If any player who sits at the tables of this tourney is worried about this, he won’t get far. They need to have fresh mind, and seeing it only like a game, which is what it is, not counting all the values surrounding him. Still early to think about the names that composse these tables, let’s see who gets to the final one.

That's gonna be one hell of a take down for whoever manages to win.

Monster prize pool, top talent pool - look forward to seeing who wins out.

It makes your eyes waterjust thinking about it! The old rule applies though...only gamble what you are prepared to lose. If you woprry about losing 50k....you shouldnt be there...same goes for any tourney buy in...hence bankroll management. These guys have some serious money to start with but still interesting to see their faces when they get busted out.

It would be great to have the opportunity to play in just one game that cost $50,000.00 to buyin. I tghink I'll post a thread asking about this.
Anyway as for the subject matter I'd like to see someone win it that hasn't ever won anything of any size.

wow 50K buy-in, they just keep on growing...this year the million green buy-in will be reached and by the end of next year this could become a normal thing...so what next- a billion dollar buy in tournament...lol..there are plenty of guys who could afford that- just look at the forbes list
