The International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) team has been strengthened even more as the British poker pro Sam Trickett has joined as ambassador. Trickett, who is the U.K.'s all-time money leader with more than $15.4 million in live tournament winnings, will now work together with Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi to promote what's expected to become the world's largest tournament in the history of live poker.

The tournament is scheduled for May 31, 2013, at the Wembley Stadium in London, England. The buy-in is €600 (1 rebuy or add-on possible) and 30,000 players are expected to take part and fight for a chunk of the €20,000,000 prize pool. The players will play online against each other at first, then the "laptops" will be put aside when 3000 players remain and live action begins. 1000 seats are reserved for players that want to buy-in directly (€6000) to the live part of the event.

Well they couldn't have got two more accomplished tournament players.

Trickett has been on fire, Mizrachi is a beast. Should help to get the word out about the tourney. For the chance at that big of a prize pool a 600 euro buy in really seems worth a punt.

I think the bad thing is that the people who have battled through the laptop brigade are at a disadvantage, because once they have gone through a monster field, they then will be playing against the best players live.

aye that's true, but then again surely the ones who battled through will all have bigger chipstacks than the ones who buy in late? which i imagine would give them an edge.

Excellent field, indeed a great addition to the team, but this business of talking to Sam Trickett is the biggest winner of the tournament in the UK living is very relative, the guy threw the largest tournament prize pool in history, all that came between all 3 are always cited as tops
