2013 WSOPE: 24 Players Remain; Danny Steinberg In 2nd Place

Another action-packed day of poker is in the books at the 2013 WSOPE Main Event in Paris, and now there are only 24 players left with the chance of taking down the the first prize of €1,000,000 and the coveted gold bracelet! Adrian Mateos from Spain bagged up the largest stack (1,066,000) at the end of Day 3 and he's closely followed by Danny Steinberg (1,009,000), whose identical twin brother, Max Steinberg, won a bracelet at the 2012 WSOP.

Although Max's tournament resume is much more impressive than Danny's, one should not forget that Danny scored a 6th place finish at the 2010 WSOPE Main Event in London, so he will write a piece of history if he final tables this Main Event as well. Best of all would be, of course, if he wins the whole thing to "even out the score" with his twin brother. It will be interesting to follow Danny and the other 23 players journey during Day 4!

Below are the top 10 players heading into Day 4:

1. Adrain Mateos Diaz - 1,066,000
2. Danny Steinberg - 1,009,000
3. Ivan Tikhov - 809,000
4. Dominik Nitsche - 768,000
5. Fabrice Soulier - 756,000
6. Sergio Aido - 721,200
7. Ognjen Sekularec - 677,000
8. Andrei Konopelko - 585,000
9. Jerome Huge - 549,000
10. Mark Teltscher - 474,000

Gogog Dominik Nitsche, all the popular players are out, Daniel, Ivey and the others, just hope that we have a good final table with these players remaining, I cannot wait for the high roller event to start will be fun though. Cheers!

As usual with main events there's no big name player - just shows that even the top top pros get binked from tourneys by 'lesser' players, keep that in mind on your next $5 buyin Smile
How handy is it that that guy has a twin brother???They could totally rotate on the poker table, always fresh, never tired.

these main event final tables are throwing new names up all the time. the odds of reaching one of these must be huge as there are always new names reaching them. the days of the same players getting on them have one with the amount of good young players coming through
