Just like the organisers predicted, Day 1B of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event attracted a massive field. A total of 649 players entered the second starting day and lots of familiar faces could be spotted at the tables, including actor Jason Alexander, sports star Michael Phelps and poker pros Tom Dwan, Phil Hellmuth, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Phil Ivey.

Approximately 375 players made it through the day and will join the 150 or so from Day 1A for Day 2. Of the people mentioned above, Grospellier, Alexander and Tom Dwan failed to make it through Day 1B. "The Grinder" played extremly well and accumulated a stack of 216,900 - about 40k less than the chip leader Ashton Griffin (253,700), who is the overall chip leader heading into Day 2.

Good day for Nicolas Godoy as Day 2 passes He bagged up 724,200 in chips to carry to Day 3.Were six levels of play on the schedule and 501 players in the field. By the dinner break, there were scarcely more than 200 people with chips. It was at that point someone shook his head ruefully and said, "We must put a stop to this carnage."

Looks like it's being a great game. Sadly, durrrr had shown some difficulty in keeping in the game, was he already thinking in another event besides this or anything more important? Helmuth and Ivey are still there to give a lot of shine to the event, but they will have to work hard to keep up with "The Grinder", who seems to be running very well.

I think it's still a bit too early to say that a winner is in range, over the years it has been proven that in just couple of hands everything can change Smile

Overall this edition was a bit hit if you ask me, i mean so many big names joined the action and also the prizes are really significant Big Smile
