WPT Rolling Thunder: Day 2 is Over - JC Tran Among Final 24!

Tags: Bryan Campanello, JC Tran, November Niner 2013, World Poker Tour, WPT Rolling Thunder.
Posted on 18 March 2014 by "T".

Two days of poker are in the books at the the World Poker Tour Rolling Thunder Main Event (played at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California) and Bryan Campanello will lead the final 24 players (of 465 entries) into Day 3 with 1,436,000 in chips. Besides Campanello, only another two players, Chad Eveslage (1,390,000) and Benjamin Zamani (1,350,000), will bring over 1 million chips to Day 3.

The biggest name among the remaining field of players is local poker legend JC Tran, who finished in 5th place in the 2013 WSOP Main Event for $2.1 million! However, the American poker professional will only bring 278,000 (27 bb) in chips to Day 3, so he definetely needs to step up a gear (or two) if he wants to make it to the final table. Now, if he makes it to the final table and finishes in 4th place or better, then he will have over $11,000,000 in live tournament earnings!

Gogo the Chinese to take over the world in a few decades. Anyway good luck to him and nice to see some familiar name among those 24, about the Asians, China will take over the world with Japan and their technology they are gonna rule the world. Most stuffs are manufactured from China nowadays. They becoming suck a power force.

JC Tran better not start summing his earnings to see if he will get over the $11M objetive with this tourney. Things aren’t easy at all. Ok, so there’s only three out of the 24 field with more than 1M chips, but for 278k is a big difference, i guess he must be near the end… but everything is possible!

Sounds like a really good good event to play on or even to watch Smile

Also on this stage of the tournament a small stack doesn not mean anything as things can turn extremly fast in this stages Big Smile

I'm sure BRM will post how this event will unfold!
