William ElliotThe massive £1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool attracted lots of players to come and play poker in Nottingham, United Kingdom. The fact is registration closed with 1,223 entries, which meant that the prize pool was boosted with £223,000! Now, after 3 days of play, there are only 8 players left and the final table is set!

The chip leader is PokerStars Qualifier William Elliot (from United Kingdom) with 5.6 million in chips! Besides him, there are another two PokerStars qualifiers (Juan Benito (Spain - 4.3m and Angelo Milioto UK 2.4m) and one PokerStars Player (Ramey Shaio UK 1.7m) left in the competition.

No matter what happens on today's final table all eight finalists are guaranteed to take home at least £20,800 each! The last man standing will get a whopping £218,300 first-place prize!

Good luck to all those left in but i will be definitely cheering for Ryan Spittles because i watch him regularly on the Sky Poker channel and he comes across as a nice guy.Good luck to all again

Cheers the tournament in England and it is a thing to have a final tables with the most Englishmen as it just happened would be fun to watch. And it would be a nice sight to get the Spaniard to win or get all the Englishmen to gang the Spaniard uo just for the sake of their country lol.

Will wait for the results and see what happens here. Cheers hope a good finish!

I think its good to see the UK holding their own in this one. Shows that home advantage probably accounts for something too.
Also the prizepool seems smaller as it's not in dollars, the winner will actually get something like $350k.
