LIVE STREAM: Brit Leads Final 8 at EPT Grand Final Main Event

It took about five hours of play for 17 players to become a final table of 8 in Day 5 of the 2014 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo EPT Grand Final Main Event. Great Britain's Jack Salter will lead the way to the final with 5,170,000 after an amazing comeback in the past 2 days.

According to PokerStars Blog, Salter entered Day 4 as one of the shortest stacks but eventually managed to turn things around for the better. Now, he has an amazing chance of winning his first EPT title and a life-changing €1,240,000 in prize money!

It would be nice to see another Brit win an event after the last one was also won by a fellow Brit. Jack Salter looks to be in a very nice position going in and i wish him and all the others good luck

A table of nobodies, but someone will become a somebody after this even if only being sponsored solid for a year off the publicity it brings.
Apart from anything else the pot is mega, I can see this being a bit of a slow table, people afraid to make moves.

Hm, where are our german heros from the last days? Blink No- it is ok that players from other countrys are in the leading position. It was verry interesting to see , which guys are survive to play the hu and win this great ept final.

You are right, there are a lot of unknown names,

but I think it is good, that unknown (=maybe new) players play poker tournaments.

Short stack becomes chip leader, where have i seen this before? It happened to me once or twice and i think about those moments so often when i remember my poker stories that it seems like it works as a rule, when is rare to happen, at least in my poker resumee.
