Brandon Paster, a 27-year-old currently residing in Amherst, Massachusetts came to Las Vegas with a specific plan: play three WSOP events and go to the Electric Daisy Carnival.
Apparently, the plan hasn't changed although he ended up winning the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event for $264,400 and his first gold coveted bracelet! Paster bested a field of 967 players, including bracelet winner Marcel Vong heads-up, to nab his first gold bracelet!
"I am gonna party my face off," Paster announced shortly after his win. "There is no better way to celebrate a bracelet than EDC. I'm on cloud nine. It's unreal."
According to WSOP, Paster is not going to play the Main Event but instead go on a three-week road trip around the U.S. Besides the road trip, he plans to use some of the money won to go an live in Amsterdam for at least a month.
