Several months after the trailer was released, ‘KidPoker' had its world premier yesterday at the Toronto International Film Festival! The long-awaited documentary, produced by PokerStars and directed by Francine Watson, about everyone's favorite poker player Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu received some very positive feedback on, for example, Twitter right after the premier.
If you weren't lucky enough to attend the world premier last night, KidPoker will be broadcasted on TSN4 in Canada on December 1, 2015 (we will let everyone know as soon as the documentary is available on PokerStars' website).
This looks like a great film/documentary and I look forward to seeing the full program.I think most poker players would be interested in how he managed to succeed at such a young age and also how he has managed to stay on top of the game after the internet generation came along.
It seems like a good documentary... I love to watch poker stories, and I love Daniel Negreanu, so this will be awesome documentary to watch... cant wait, hopw it will come out soon on pokerstars or somewhere else
I will wait for it when it can be viewed on youtube so guys if you're reading and you are a frequent youtube user then let us know when it will be available there...
This simple occurrence just goes to show how crazy the world can get, or has got. Could you imagine a few years a go a film about a poker player? How playing cards has stretched the boundaries of stardom and infamy. Hope he enjoys the limelight!
well legend or not, first of all he is a great dude- you always want to have him at or under the tables because of the way he treats other players and because he is amusing, easy going and humble enough despite his superstar status. still better make a porn movie daniel, documentaries suck.
... < I went and looked on the guide,...and sure enough that documentary really IS on TSN this week...! I usually find that these shows aren't on when said,...but this time it IS...! I'll be watching...!
Daniel has interesting personality enough and famous enough to make a film/documentary about him like this. He is sympatic and good player made hard work to be as good as he is. He is friendly and helpful with people interested in learning poker as well. Good Luck Kid!

Docu films are awesome, but I prefer the ones where I don't know anything at all about the subject before watching...
