The plan for Day 4 of the EPT Prague Main Event was to play down from 67 to 16 players. Well, 23 players still remained when the tournament director called it a day after several thrilling levels of play on Day 4. Marc Macdonell, from Ireland, bagged up the chip lead with 3.6 million to his name - just about 70k more than Gleb Tremzin in 2nd and 400k more than Benjamin Lamprecht in 3rd.
Just like on Day 3, several big names were eliminated on Day 4. Just to mention two: 2015 EPT Malta winner Niall Farrell (40th for €16,200) and Andrew Chen (38th for €19,040), who was the highest grossing live tournament player left in the field.
Play will resume at 12 pm local time today. Play will go on until the tournament has reached a final table of six players.
