The European Poker Tour Prague kicked off with a bang yesterday, because 50 entries (42 players, 8 reentries) were made during the first day of the €50,000 Super High Roller! Re-entries and late registration is open until the start of Day 2, so for sure last year's field of 51 entries (42 players, 9 re-entries) will be beaten!
Now, 33 players made it through Day 1's 8 levels of play with Netherland's Luuk Gieles as the chip leader (1 million in chips). Other players to survive with healthy stacks include Ole Schemion (757,000), Sylvain Loosli (725,000), Igor Kurganov (666,000), and Mustapha Kanit (593,000).
Check back tomorrow for another brief update.
