PokerStars Signs Jason Somerville

Besides winning millions of dollars playing poker online and live, Jason Somerville has gotten himself a decent fan base over the past 2 years through his live streaming videos of Youtube and Twitch. Today, PokerStars announced via a press release that the 27-year-old American has joined its Team PokerStars Pro.

Jason Somerville represents the latest generation of poker pros, raised on American poker television and videogame culture," PokerStars wrote in a press release. "The young American has parlayed his poker passion into a successful Twitch feed, where fans watch his real-time play, commentary and strategic advice on the popular video platform and game community."

"One of things I've learned in the last few years is that these kinds of relationships are co-promotion partnerships," Somerville told PokerStars Blog. "They're not like the old days where a poker site would put a patch on a player, and they would be a walking billboard. That no longer has a return on the investment for the poker site."

The 27-year old described his new deal as "the holy grail", and plans to celebrate by playing on PokerStars every day for 70 days while broadcasting live.
His epic grind begins this coming Sunday, and will amount a monumental 16,000 minutes (4 hours per day) of action.

That is a great "job" to have but after the winnings he has achieved he deserves it.He has lots of videos on youtube and I think he plays as taknapotin on those but not sure if that is his stars alias.

You could look after every Team PokerStars Pro player within the software - it has a whole section dedicated to that and while they are online you could watch them playing cash games, sngs and touries or whatnot. They aren't that hard to find.
