As you probably already know there will be no $1,000,000 tourney (Big One for One Drop) at this summer's World Series of Poker, however, there will be a $500,000 buy-in event called Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) in the beginning of July - just days before the 2015 WSOP Main Event begins.
The massive buy-in tournament will be played at Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas from 2-4 July, 2015, and 57 players have so far confirmed that they will partcipate, including Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Dan Cates, Antonio Esfandiari, Sam Trickett and Tom Dwan. This means that the current prize pool is $28,500,000 - of which the eventual winner should get close to 9 million dollars along with a customized Super High Roller Bowl championship ring as shown below.
Poker Central, the first ever 24/7 poker TV network, along with POKER PROductions, which for example produces ESPN's broadcast of the WSOP, will put together a show of SHRB that will air on a major sports television network. (Hopefully more information will be available on Poker Central's website soon)
