Scott "Aggro Santos" Margerson made a name for himself in the online poker world when he won two World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) bracelets within the span of three days last fall. He won WCOOP Event #18 for almost $110,000 and followed that up with a first place finish in a four-way chop of WCOOP Event #22 for $202,000.
On Sunday, a few months after the amazing feat, he topped a field of 6,393 entries to win PokerStars' Sunday Millon. In total, 990 players earned a share of the $1,278,600,00 prize pool - of which Aggro Santos got $193,479!
According to PokerStars Blog, he had a small lead when heads-up play began. He took down the first few pots and had his opponents stack reduced from 30.8 million to 24 million in chips. Then, he was dealt A9 on the button and raised to 2 million. KDJAll3 raised to 4 million, Aggro Santos went all in, and KDJAll3 called with KT.
The table ran out QQ248 and Aggro Santos locked up his first Sunday Million title. KDJAll3 earned $143,842.50 for his second place finish.
