2015 WSOP Event #5: Cord Garcia Wins THE COLOSSUS!

wsopThe winner of the 2015 WSOP event #5 THE COLOSSUS was no other than the 25 year old Cord Garcia from Houston, Texas. Mr. Garcia earned his first gold bracelet by outlsting a field of more than 22,370 players that participated in this $565 No Limit Hold'em event. The total prize pool was $11,187,000 and Garcia bagged $638,880.

The runner-up was Bradley McFarland and he earned $386,253 for coming in second after losing the final hand against Garcia's full house ( 4's and 2's ).

It was a huge and diferent tournament, for the show, the buy.in the mane and record of participants, and the name it self.
Congratulation for the winner that bit a massive field after some days of playing.
Next year we hope to see again this tournament, with the same or around the buy.in, and maybe get another record for the field.
About the final table have only players around 25 years old, just shows that many people/players want the big hit and they have enough money to spend in tournaments with this kind of buy.in.

He should have gotten at least 3 mil for this.
