The 2015 November Nine is getting closer and closer as another day of play has come to an end. The final 27 players will be led into Day 7 by Thomas Kearney with 14,400,000 in chips. Kearney, who resides in Las Vegas, is closely followed by Mozheng Guan with 14,230,000.

Other players with over 10 million in chips are Kearney and Guan are followed by Erasmus Morfe (12,085,000), Joseph McKeehen (11,975,000), Mario Sequeira (11,865,000), David Stefanski (11,485,000), and Alexander Turyansky (10,785,000).

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu will also be returning for Day 7. Negreanu, who currently is in 9th place with 8,495,000 in chips, is looking to win his first WSOP Main Event title and his 7th bracelet. Another poker star to keep an eye on when Day 7 kicks off is Day 6 chip leader Pierre Neuville (6,000,000).

Brian Hastings, a two-time bracelet winner this summer, won't be returning for Day 7. The U.S. high stakes pro was knocked out in 49th place for a $137,300 payday. However, he still a big favourite to take home the 2015 WSOP Player of the Year honour.

Play resumes at noon local time on Tuesday. The plan is to play down a final table of nine (November Nine). All the remaining 27 players are guaranteed $211,821 each - with the chance of becoming the last man standing (1st pays $7,680,021).

It would be great to see Daniel Negreanu make the final table because he is, without doubt, one of the most recognisable poker players in the world. Good luck to all those left in

This is getting very interesting now and it would be good to see Negreanu make the final, though there are lots of good players left.
I thought Hastings would get further but he had a good run and has had an amazing wsop.A shame no women will reach the final table.
I don't know about everyone else but I hate the fact that we have to wait until November to see the final table...that is just too long.

They are down to 13 players now. Negreanu is still in it, but has one of the smallest stacks at the tables with around 20 BB. So not much room to play proper poker over a few streets for him.

I don't know the the portuguese player Guilherme Soares is still alive on this event but i guess not. Still, i'm very happy for his achievement, getting a place among the last 69 players on WSOP main event, becoming the portuguese player who ever went so long on a main event. I know he got at least $96k, so that's not bad at all!

• Just folded AK preflop something I should have done in 2001 when I came 11th. I was a kid then and not ready to win then. I am ready now... (6 hrs ago)
• 13 players left in the main event and I just doubled to 5.9 mill with 44. Rough level but I'm still in this and will come back strong. (3 hrs ago)

Negreanu slipped to 8.525 million and is ninth in chips with 11 players remaining.

This is just funny when you see his blogpost about his keyhands later, he get into action with way worse hands than that though.
