James Mackey Wins WPT Choctaw Main Event

James Mackey became the champion of the World Poker Tour Choctaw Main Event on Tuesday after defeating Benjamin Zamani in the heads-up play. On the final hand, Mackey's pair of eights held up against Zamani's pocket fives after both players went all in pre-flop. 

The $3,700 re-entry event attracted 1,066 players to Choctaw Casino Resort in Oklahoma, USA, and MacKey received $681,758 and a seat into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions for his first-place finish. He now has more than $3.5 million in lifetime earnings and only needs an EPT victory to complete poker's triple crown.

Many congratulations to James Mackey on winning this event and the first prize of $681,758. I have never heard of this player but he has also won a WSOP bracelet so he must be one heck of a player

When ever I see the name Choctaw I just can't help thinking it says chocolate..... Which gets my mind wondering off to little square pieces of brown glory...... I then drift off to the song Choctaw Ridge (Ode to Billy Joe) I am now struggling to think how it goes but know it exists. Back to ChoColate and poker!

Congratulations to James Mackey on being crowned the champion of the World Poker Tour Choctaw main event! He made over $680,000 return on $3,700 investment. That is just incredible. He certainly will be a force to be reckoned with in the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions.

I never heard about this poker Player, but he got a verry nice winning of over $600.000. What a amazing cash winning in this WPT main event and it was a dream to win one time a big tournament like this. But we can try it again and again and perhaps one time a mobster was a big winner Thumbs Up

This is a good investment for your money. With almost 4k winning 681k.
I could quit playing poker after such a win. A bit of vacationing and some small investment,
would make lots easier many years to come :
But these players are glued to it.
