Multi-table tournament poker star Shaun Deeb just can't get himself away from yet another Twitter fight. Just last week, he came between Jason Mercier vs Brandon Cantu's heated comments on Twitter, and in the end had sided with his friend Mercier whilst delivered virtual blows to Cantu's credibility.
Last week, he started yet another Twitter feud, this time he's one of the main characters. His opponents are: two-time WSOP Main Event champion Doyle Brunson and his poker pro son named Todd.
The altercation began sometime last week after Doyle wrote to Daniel Negreanu how much he enjoyed his February 1 podcast with Nick Schulman.
Negreanu replied with his thanks and tried to correct Brunson:
Deeb suddenly barges in with their conversation and writes unnecessarily:
Brunson then wrote in response:
Then out of nowhere:
Todd Brunson stepped in with a cool-headed response:
When one of Todd's followers asked him whether this Twitter feud was "friendly" or real, he replied:
And that ends another episode of Deeb-related Twitter-bashing.
When it comes to the world of social media, people forget nowadays about social etiquette. One thing to always remember is to avoid being that one person who "butts in" on other people's conversations; and worse, hijacking the topic or making it all about you.
