PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo Super High Roller was played over the weekend. The hefty buy-in of €98,500 + €1,500 attracted 61 entries (including 14 re-entries) to create a €5,948,415 prize pool.
After three days of intensive play, Bryn Kenney ended up as the last man standing for the lion's share of the massive prize pool.
The US pro faced Russian heads-up specialist Viacheslav Buldygin in the final battle for the title. Kenney started with a massive 5-1 lead, Buldygin fought well but could never really threaten Kenney for the title.
Kenney received the top prize of €1,784,500 while Buldygin had to settle for €1,290,800.
