Just like what he did at last year's inaugural Poker Master Series, Daniel ‘KidPoker' Negreanu has once again offered to bet $50,000 on himself against any other player to win the US Poker Open Cup at the upcoming US Poker Open.
The bet only calls for a payout if either Negreanu or anyone who bets against him will end up winning the US Poker Open Cup by cashing for the most money than any other player throughout the course of the 8-event series.
The thing is, if there are more bets that Negreanu takes on, then the more chances he is going to end up having to shell out $50,000 each time. However, the bright side is that if he ever manages to win the Cup, then he could be in for a massive payday.
At the past Poker Master Series, there were 20 players who bet against Negreanu, which means that if he had won the Purple Jacket, then he could have walked away with an extra $1m in his pockets.
While he announced his latest bet via Twitter, Negreanu couldn't help but include in the announcement his friend and sometimes rival, Phil ‘The Poker Brat' Hellmuth, the chance to bet him against him up to $250,000!
