$50,000 Main Event Final Table

Just like what he did at last year's inaugural Poker Master Series, Daniel ‘KidPoker' Negreanu has once again offered to bet $50,000 on himself against any other player to win the US Poker Open Cup at the upcoming US Poker Open.

The bet only calls for a payout if either Negreanu or anyone who bets against him will end up winning the US Poker Open Cup by cashing for the most money than any other player throughout the course of the 8-event series.

The thing is, if there are more bets that Negreanu takes on, then the more chances he is going to end up having to shell out $50,000 each time. However, the bright side is that if he ever manages to win the Cup, then he could be in for a massive payday.

At the past Poker Master Series, there were 20 players who bet against Negreanu, which means that if he had won the Purple Jacket, then he could have walked away with an extra $1m in his pockets.

While he announced his latest bet via Twitter, Negreanu couldn't help but include in the announcement his friend and sometimes rival, Phil ‘The Poker Brat' Hellmuth, the chance to bet him against him up to $250,000!

This looks like a very good series of tournaments and it will be fascinating to see who eventually comes out on top. Daniel Negreanu must have a chance of winning this and could land a few side bets in the meantime

a few heavy names in the professional poker industry. I'm expecting more names but it looks like the famous players are not going to throw with the money in these tourneaments. I think they are afraid because they will have big holes in the budget Smile at high stakes the value is seen and courage Cool

yeah interesting series, also some funny dudes like hellmouth and negreanu appearing makes for a soap opera at the poker tables. I think there will be a few of dude who will be watchin the series through subscription service.

How is this different than the WSOP itself? Besides cheaper. It's an Open so everybody could participate if they want besides we probably only going to see the usual names in every tourney during the series So its no big deal betting on yourself...

Daniel Nigreanu is a very interesting player and his game is usually very interesting and cool .... therefore probably it will be very interesting ..... the more how much I remember last year he did not have very big achievements and maybe this year everything will change

at this level many players are interesting but now they also depend on how they will play in these tournaments because he amounts of money paid to play in these games are very high. I would like daniel negreanu to win but in my opinion he is a player who is very watchful and these players know him. This is a disadvantage for Negreanu.

That buy ins of 10k USD wasnt big enough for negreanu it seems.
So it had to rise the bets with that 50k side bet.
If you have money, you toss them around like they are toilet paper Smile

Mober even many millionaires do not come to play poker with the professionals players, they are not fishermens. They will not come to play in these tournaments if they have little knowledge of poker. Few people with money come to play with pleasure. The proof is that few professional players come in these tournaments because is big money and very risky for them.
 Mober05/02/2018 10:08:43 GMT
If they are millionaires they do not actually care for these buy ins.
For them its just pocket money.
The professional poker players dont actually care for a 10k USD buy in.
The rich people would? Smile
 CALICUL05/02/2018 13:25:10 GMT
sure businessmen have much more care for their money. They have many responsibilities and fees to pay. Any businessman even if he has a lot of money he will not risk playing poker with these professional players because they know, the money will end up in the pockets of the professionals. Except some of them who do not look at money when playing but these people are few and they really have some knowledge of poker.

So how to take this bet who could take this bet since he and the greatest player of our time to me have to have much more confidence in the club to be able to propose such a thing more we will see where this arrives and be the one that he even wins

Daniel Negreanu has made the final table of the US$50,000 buy-in USPO main event. I am really impressed by his performance. Stephen Chidwick is a huge favorite to win the USPO trophy at the moment. Can Daniel surpass Stephen? The final table is set to kick off today.
 Tony_MON7ANA12/02/2018 13:50:15 GMT
Massive well done to an American poker professional Keith Tilston on taking down the US$50,000 buy-in USPO main event! And congratulations also to Daniel Negreanu on finishing the tournament in third place and winning US$264,000.
 Tony_MON7ANA13/02/2018 13:51:44 GMT
Congratulations to Stephen Chidwick on winning the US Poker Open Championship trophy! Stephen managed to cash in 5 out of the 8 tournaments, which is insanely impressive. He won a total of US$1,256,600 while Daniel Negreanu, who finished in 4th place, racked up US$621,500.
