For the second time in tour history, the Unibet Open returns to the romantic French capital of Paris for a five-day event filled with juicy poker action from November 27 to December 1. The poker fest shall be held at the recently opened Club Circus.

Unibet Open - Paris

  • Schedule: November 27 to December 1, 2019
  • Venue: Club Circus, Paris, France
  • Highlight: €1,100 buy-in Main Event on November 28 to December 1
The deep-stacked tournament shall have players start off with 30,000 in chips during each of the opening flights on November 28-29. The first two opening flights will feature 45 and 60-minute blind levels, whereas the final opening flight is a turbo-charged one with 20-minute blind levels. The tournament permits one re-entry but only if a player's second entry is on Day 1c.

Surviving players will be battling out with their chips for two more days on November 30 and December 1 until the second Unibet Open Paris Main Event winner is crowned.

Polish player Jaroslaw Barglik is the very first Unibet Open Paris Main Event winner back in 2012. He managed to outlast 439 entries, defeating Swedish pro Kent Lundmark heads-up to claim the Main Event title for €140,539. At that time, the event took place at the Cercle Cadet and had a higher buy in worth €1,650 and generated a total prize pool of €653,671.

2019 Unibet Open Paris - Schedule
While the Main Event is usually the highlight of any poker festival, players can still enjoy participating at other side events and invitation-only events such as the Unibet Tag Team Championship on November 27 and the Unibet Battle Royale on November 28.

Players can also sink their teeth into the €220 NLH Progressive Knockout (50%) on November 30 and the €165 NLH Turbo on December 1.

we will see how many players will be in this event and what unibet can bring to players!maybe if paris dont have any other big tournament, then this will be big,but if some other poker company have big tournament, then its hard to expect that unibet can offer much more!but we will see from news whats happening!

I haven’t heard about any promotions from this poker room for a long time .... unibit is of course a very famous poker room and quite old and solid, but it conducts a promotion quite rarely .... apparently now is the case when they decided to hold a promotion Before Happy New Year to popularize your poker room

Paris is a fantastic plce for the Unibet Open series. A great location ad not so far away in Europe. In the past we have a lot of nice citys for live poker events and Paris is a new location. It was interesting to see, how many player will playing there in December.

didnt play poker at their site for such a long time,so dont know did they changed something or not!they had bad software, even it was new and lot of mistakes,so thats why its strange to me that they can make such a big live tournament and that lot of players want to play at their site or live tourney!

Am I wrong or it used to cost more for buy-in into this tourney before? Back in the days when I've spent time at Unibet's poker room they used to do satellites for the european stops and the packages were worth close to 2.5-3000 euros...

I suppose there will be satellites for this game in Paris, because there will be many players who will try to qualify for this live tournament. It is a good thing and we see in every year more locations in European countries, where good series or great games are taking place.

No I mean five-six years ago I used to play satellites to these every month on the old Unibet setup and the live tourney tickets were worth more back then (not just the packages, but the buy-ins covered as well...)
