The 2022 WPT Summer Festival shall run from July 20 to August 22 with a total of 50 tournaments, featuring a $1 million guaranteed Main Event and a $1-for-$1-Million event.
$1 for $1 Million Event
A major highlight of the WPT Summer Festival is the $1-for-$1-Million, an event that allows players to join for only $1 for a chance to win a share of a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. Imagine winning a seven-figure payout from just a $1 buy-in - pretty cool, right?
Flights are available every Wednesday and Sunday during the Summer Festival. The $1 for $1 Million final table streams live August 22 on the WPT Twitch channel.
$1M GTD Main Event
The WPT Summer Festival's key highlight is the $1 Million guaranteed Main Event with a $330 buy-in, which runs from August 12 to 22.
Other notable events in the WPT Summer Festival:
- Opener - $220 entry with $150,000 guarantee
- Mini Main Event - a $33 entry with a $100,000 guarantee
- Summer Progressive Bounty Championship - $220 buy-in with $300,000 prize pool
- The Summer Showdown - $220 buy-in with $250,000 prize pool
Tournament of Champions Freeroll
All tournament winners in the Summer Festival shall earn a spot in the Tournament of Champions Freeroll, where the top two finishers win a seat in the $15 Million Guarantee WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas this December.
Each player who cashes in any tournament during the Summer Festival is automatically entered into a separate freeroll offering a number of WPT Global online tournament ticket prizes.
PLO and Short Deck
For those craving for more action other than NLHE, they can look forward to PLO and Short Deck tournaments taking place regularly throughout the WPT Summer Festival.

- PLO Micro at 10% the buy-in and 10% the guarantee
- $100,000 Guarantee $110 Short Deck Bounty Championship
Satellites for as Low as $1
There are also $500 satellites to win seats in the $15 Million Gtd WPT World Championship, a live event at the Wynn Las Vegas in December.
