Around 31 players have taken their seats in the center of the cavernous ballroom, all of them are now waiting for the tournament director, Mike Ward, to say the famous words in poker - "Shuffle up and deal".
The field includes some really interesting names - Jonathan Duhamel, Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari - just to mention a few of them.
All players have 250,000 chips and the first level's blinds are 500 / 1000 with a 100 ante.
