After 3 long days of play, the $1,5k H.O.R.S.E.* event's 963-player field had been narrowed down to only 1 player, Aaron Steury. Steury had a very tough journey to the title as world class players such as Eli Elezra, Victor Ramadin and David Bach all made it deep in the tournament (Ramadin finished 9th).
On the final table, he had to defeat 8 very skilled H.O.R.S.E. players before he was the last man standing and was rewarded with his first WSOP gold bracelet and first prize of $289,283.
