The Main Event of EPT Vilamoura is about to start any minute now. 221 out of 384 players have survived Day 1 and made it to Day 2. Daniel Mineri, Sorel Mizzi (picture) and Antonio Esfandiari are, for example, big names that have been doing very well so far in the tournament. All of them are in the top of the remaining field of players. Chip leader, however, is Leonind Bilokur from Russia. Bilokur has accumulated 161,200 chips so far and played extremely well. But there is no time for him to sit back and relax yet since there are a few players who are very close behind him.
The 384 players who entered the tournament have created a prize pool of almost 1.9 million euro which means that the top prize pays almost half a million euro. Ladies and gentlemen, with so much money up for grabs and so many notables left it will for sure be very exciting to follow the rest of the tournament.
