One of the world's biggest poker sites pays tribute to a man who's dubbed as a ‘true godfather' of poker by creating a documentary in honor of ‘Devilfish' that everyone can watch on partypoker TV (partypoker account required - CLICK HERE if you don't have one already).
He earned $6.2 million playing live poker tournaments from 1993 to 2014, with his final appearance being in the $1,500 NLHE Monster Stack of the 2014 WSOP, finishing 265th place out of 7,862 entries.
Nominations for the 2015 Poker Hall of Fame (established in 1979, currently 48 members) closed on Tuesday... and here are the 10 finalists: John Juanda, Carlos Mortensen, Chris Bjorin, David Chiu, Terry Rogers, Matt Savage, Bruno Fitoussi, Jennifer Harman, Max Pescatori, and David "Devilfish" Ulliott.
As most of you probably are aware of, Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott passed away at the age of 61 on April 6, 2015 after losing a battle against terminal bowel and liver cancer. Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Shak and many other poker pros all over the world have paid tribute to his memory via Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms since his death.
