Jerry Yang won his ticket to the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event Main Event through a $225 satellite and bested a field of 6,358 entries for an increadible $8.25 million first prize. Now, almost 6 years later, it seems like the money is gone since his gold bracelet (and other jewellery belonging to him) is listed on U.S. Department of the Treasury's Auction site.
In an interview on Short Stacked Radio on Wednesday, Jerry Yang told the interviewer that his autobiography, All in: From Refugee Camp to Poker Champ, could be set for the big screen.
"I'm very excited and I'm praying, I'm really praying right now," said Yang, "We have a scheduled meeting already. My father and I will fly out and meet with this particular (film) company. This is my third meeting with them by the way, so hopefully we'll be able to put something together that is agreeable with both sides."
